Aaron Boone will return for his eighth season as manager of the New York Yankees in 2025.The team announced Friday that it exercised its club option for the 51-year-old skipper.Boone is 603-429 (.584) since taking over in 2018 and has reached the playoffs six times in seven seasons. In 2024, New York captured its first American League pennant since 2009 and lost to the Los Angeles Dodgers in five games in the World Series.”I am grateful for the trust placed in me to lead this team.
