The New York Mets are re-signing free-agent outfielder/designated hitter Jesse Winker to a one-year contract, per multiple reports Thursday.The New York Post reported the contract is worth $7.5 million guaranteed, with an additional $1.5 million possible in incentives.The deal is pending a physical.Winker, 31, played 44 games with the Mets last season after being acquired at the trade deadline from the Washington Nationals for minor league right-hander Tyler Stuart.With the Mets, he hit .243 with three home runs and 13 RBIs after batting .257 with 11 homers and 45 runs driven in during 101 games in Washington.In the postseason with New York, Winker batted .318 with four RBIs in 10 games.
