Report: Yankees done adding big-ticket free agents for 2025

The American League champion New York Yankees appear to have completed their offseason shopping spree and no longer are in the market for big-name, high-dollar free agents, Sportico reported Thursday.The Yankees already have made some significant additions to the roster, signing left-hander Max Fried to an eight-year, $218 million deal and adding first baseman Paul Goldschmidt to a one-year, $12.5 million deal.Not only was outfielder/first baseman Cody Bellinger acquired from the Chicago Cubs, and set to make $25 million in 2025, right-hander Devin Williams was acquired from the Milwaukee Brewers ($8.4 million). The club also re-signed right-hander Jonathan Loaisiga ($5 million).
