Report: Haason Reddick ends holdout, will join Jets on Monday

Haason Reddick ended his holdout with the New York Jets on Sunday, with the edge rusher agreeing to an “adjusted contract,” ESPN reported.”We will continue to work towards a long-term extension with the Jets,” Reddick’s newly hired agent, Drew Rosenhaus, told ESPN.The Jets acquired Reddick from the Philadelphia Eagles for a conditional 2026 draft pick on April 1, but the two-time Pro Bowl selection was a no-show while seeking a long-term deal.Reddick, 30, was due to make $14.25 million in the final season of his three-year, $45 million contract.ESPN reported that the team will not assess him more than $12 million in fines that accrued during his holdout in exchange for him joining the team on Monday.Rosenhaus told ESPN that Jets owner Woody Johnson was “very involved” in ending the stalemate.
