The New York Mets acquired outfielder Jose Siri from the Tampa Bay Rays on Tuesday in exchange for right-handed pitcher Eric Orze.Siri, 29, figures to fill a spot in center field for the Mets with Harrison Bader not expected to return to the club.Siri spent parts of the last three seasons with the Tampa Bay Rays and played in a career-high 130 games in 2024, with 116 starts in center field. He batted .187 this past season but hit 18 home runs and 47 RBIs while stealing 14 bases.
