Statistically, he had his best game yet against Syracuse, completing 17 of 24 throws for a season-high 329 yards and two touchdowns. But he also fumbled once and threw an interception.NC State turns the ball over 1.9 times per game, which is the most in the ACC.Cal has lost three games in a row, but by a combined eight points. The Bears lost on the road at Florida State by five, home to Miami by one in a controversial ending, and most recently at Pittsburgh by two. Two of Cal’s losses were also to AP-ranked opponents.
