Tom “Goz” Goslowski, host of The Score 1260’s new local sports talk morning show, the First Quarter, started off as producer and fill in host for In The Cell with ML and Bud and the ManChild in December of 2013. The First Quater officially became Central New York’s only local sports morning drive talk show in September 2014. Goz has also worked as a studio host for the Syracuse Chiefs, local high sports coverage and a host for the Syracuse Football post game show.
Before his time with TheScore1260, Goz worked as a play by play broadcaster and afternoon radio drive host from 2009-2013 in Geneva and Auburn, NY as well as being the official broadcaster for the New York Collegiate Baseball League’s Geneva Red Wings and Syracuse Salt Cats.
A Syracuse native, Goz played football, basketball and baseball for Solvay High School. A three time All-League selection on the gridiron, Goz went on to play NCAA Football at Hobart College. Playing on both the offensive and defensive lines, he was an All-Academic selection in his sophomore season before an injury ended his career mid-way through his junior campaign. Goz graduated Hobart as a double major with degrees in Media and Society and Political Science.
