New York Jets wide receiver Mike Williams sat out for the second straight day of practice for what the team is calling personal reasons.Williams, 30, signed with the Jets for one year and $10 million during free agency but has seen few opportunities in the passing game. That’s likely to continue to be the case after the Jets acquired star receiver Davante Adams to join Garrett Wilson and Allen Lazard.According to The Athletic, several teams have called the Jets about working a trade for Williams. NFL Network reported that Williams was in the team facility Thursday after staying home Wednesday.
