NFL fans we are SO CLOSE. No longer are we saying weeks, but now just one week before the 2020 NFL Draft gets underway! We now know what the draft is going to look like and it’s going to be well odd.
2020 Virtual Draft details:
— Commissioner Roger Goodell will announce the picks from his house in Westchester, NY (as @peter_king said).
— IT departments have completed their work, with cameras installed in the homes of all GMs and coaches. That’ll be on air and for compliance.— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) April 13, 2020

Yes I have another trade for a team trading up to get quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. That team this time is the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jaguars trade defensive end Yannick Ngakoue, the 9th overall pick, and a 1st and 2nd round pick in 2021 to the Washington Redskins in exchange for the 2nd overall pick. One thing I think people are forgetting about with this draft is the Yannick Ngakoue factor. Ngakoue has made it crystal clear he’s not playing for Jacksonville. So the Jaguars not only have their two 1st round picks, but they have a premier 25 year old pass rusher they can use as trade bait. And that’s exactly what they do in this scenario. We know the Redskins in most other mock drafts would take Chase Young. But if you are Washington, you could have Ngakoue along with an extra 1st round pick next year. I think Washington would bite on this kind of deal. That way if Washington wants to tank for Trevor Lawrence, they will have more assets to trade up for him if they need to. As for Jacksonville, they go all in and get a superstar quarterback in Tua. Gardner Minshew just isn’t the future let’s be real. Jacksonville would be foolish to think otherwise. Jacksonville holds more power in this draft than most people think. So watch out cause the Jaguars are going to make moves on draft night.
So with Jacksonville trading up to 2nd overall to get Tua, the New York Giants are truly blessed as edge rusher Chase Young falls in their lap with the 4th overall pick. Giants get the pass rusher of their dreams without having to do a dang thing. As to the prospect who could fall in this scenario? I have Isaiah Simmons falling all the way down to 13th to the 49’ers. Yes this seems impossible (and really is) considering Simmons is usually a Top 5 pick in most other mock drafts. But good players are going to fall and Simmons in this case falls out of the Top 10 because of team needs for offensive lineman and quarterback. I will most likely have Simmons back in the Top 10 with my final mock draft, but in this mock draft he falls all way down to 13th.
