Here are 10 quickies from SU's 16-6 loss at Clemson.

1. Death Valley looks pretty special. I have to get there. 



2. Cole Stoudt is so bad as Clemson QB. DeShaun Watson in there might be a 14-point difference in this one. 



3. Anyone seen Steve Ishmael? He should be getting more opportunities. 



4. Attention, Tim Lester, offensive coordinator of the Orange. Stop running trick plays and East-West designs. Clemson is faster than you. It doesn't work. 



5. A.J. Long cannot wait to get out of here. 



6. Tigers defensive end Vic Beasley might be a Top 5 pick. Hell, Top 3 pick. 



7. These defenses really came to play. 



8. Adding to that, you cannot realistically ask the Syracuse defense to do more this season. 



9. SU was expected to lose this one. That is why the Maryland loss at the Carrier Dome looms large. Still could be a .500 club. 



10. Clemson's depth of talent and edge speed is still so superior that Syracuse hasn't closed the game at all on them in year two of the ACC. Same goes for Florida State. Ignore the box scores from last year compared to this season.
